Rohnert Park DPS will conduct a training burn on Wednesday, October 21, from 8 to 11 a.m. at 6400 State Farm Drive.

Three cars will be burned as part of training in arson investigation, fire scene examination, and vehicle fire suppression. This training helps our crews build the skills needed to investigate fires and safely put them out.

Nearby residents may see or smell smoke and hear emergency equipment during the exercise. Smoke mitigation measures will be in place to help reduce impacts to the surrounding community and environment.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as our crews train to keep Rohnert Park safe.
