LOCATION: 900 Block of Front Street, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Ralph Ybarra, 30-years-old, Resident of Needles, CA
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at approximately 12:15 a.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station / Needles Police Department responded to a call for service regarding a domestic disturbance near the 900 block of Front Street in Needles, CA.
Upon arrival, deputies learned the suspect, identified as Ralph Ybarra, had prevented the victim from leaving her residence, taken possession of her cellphone, and made criminal threats towards the victim. Ybarra also reportedly caused over $400 worth of damage to her residence. During the incident, the victim was able to free herself and flee the residence at which time the suspect followed and harassed the victim until she was able to reach a safe place to call authorities.
Following the investigation, Ralph Ybarra was subsequently arrested on the above-mentioned charges and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Ybarra remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, on $150,000.00 bail, awaiting a court hearing.
