The Westampton Township Police Department would like to remind all residents to take a few simple precautions to help prevent vehicle burglaries and thefts.

🔒 LOCK YOUR VEHICLES – Even when parked in your driveway or directly in front of your home.

🔑 REMOVE YOUR KEYS – Never leave your keys or key fobs inside your vehicle.

🎒 SECURE YOUR VALUABLES – Remove wallets, purses, electronics, and other valuable items from plain sight.

💡 TURN ON OUTSIDE LIGHTS – Well-lit driveways and parking areas can help discourage criminal activity.

👀 REPORT SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY – If you see something unusual in your neighborhood, contact the police department. Do not attempt to confront suspicious individuals.

Remember, it only takes a few seconds to lock your vehicle and help prevent yourself from becoming a victim of a crime.
