INCIDENT: P.C. 664/187(a) – Attempted Murder, P.C. 211 – Robbery
LOCATION: 15000 Block of Palmdale Road, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): John Ramirez, 59-years-old, Resident of Victorville
VICTIM(S): 26-year-old Male
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at about 9:35 p.m., deputies from the Victorville Station responded to the 15000 block of Palmdale Road regarding a reported incident.
The investigation revealed that John Ramirez approached an adult male victim in a parking lot and took a bottle of alcohol from him. The victim, who was in a wheelchair, was pushed out of the wheelchair by Ramirez and fell to the ground. Ramirez assaulted the victim multiple times, brandished a knife, and threatened to harm him.
Deputies conducted a search of the surrounding area and located Ramirez nearby. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
John Ramirez was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto for P.C. 664/187 – Attempted Murder, and P.C. 211 – Robbery.
