Due to Hoboken FIre Department activity and PSEG repairs to a blown transformer, 15th Street is closed between Washington Street and Willow Avenue to all traffic, except local access. Northbound Park Avenue, exiting Hoboken, is also closed north of 14th Street. Southbound lanes of Park Avenue are open.
Residents are reminded that 14th Street remains closed at Washington Street due to ongoing NJ Department of Environmental Protection Rebuild by Design construction.
Hoboken Police are on the scene to assist with traffic control, but drivers should plan for significant congestion while repairs are made. Please avoid the area if possible, consider using southern routes to enter and exit Hoboken, and leave plenty of time to get around.
New Jersey Transit buses are being rerouted around the area.
