King Tides are affecting Lighthouse Point and surrounding areas this week, causing elevated water levels and localized roadway flooding.
Motorists are reminded to avoid driving through standing water, especially saltwater, which can cause damage to your vehicle’s undercarriage and metal components.
If your vehicle is exposed to saltwater, rinse the undercarriage and affected metal parts with fresh water as soon as possible to help prevent corrosion and rust.
