The City of Idalou would like to inform residents that Idalou ISD will be hosting its Shattered Dreams educational program tomorrow, Thursday, October 29, 2026.
As part of this event, residents may notice an increased presence of police, fire, EMS, and other first responders in the Idalou ISD parking lot near the football stadium.
**Please do not be alarmed.** This is a planned emergency response simulation, and there is no actual emergency.
Shattered Dreams is an educational program designed to help students understand the dangers of impaired driving and how one decision can have a lasting impact on families, friends, and the community.
The City of Idalou is proud to participate alongside Idalou ISD and other community partners in this important program.
Thank you for your understanding and support!
