TRAFFIC ALERT – GREENWOOD AVENUE CONSTRUCTION
The City of Park Ridge announces that construction will begin Thursday, October 29, 2026, at the intersections of Greenwood Avenue and Touhy Avenue and Greenwood Avenue and Cedar Street.
Northbound Greenwood Avenue traffic will be closed. Motorists should expect delays and consider using alternate routes.
Detours for Touhy Avenue:

Eastbound traffic: Use Busse Highway.

Westbound traffic: Use Western Avenue.
Construction is expected to last approximately two days. Please plan accordingly and use caution when traveling through the area.
