Halloween Treat Street
The Recreation Department's Halloween Treat Street on Broad Avenue will take place this Saturday, October 31st, from 10:00am until noon. Setup for the event will take place from 9:15am until 9:30am. If you have a table to set up, please bring it to the Methodist Church lawn on Broad Avenue. Cars that are registered for Trunk or Treat should be set up in the Beechwood Municipal Parking Lot and leave an empty parking space between each car. Road closures will start to take place at 9:30am so all tables and cars should be in place before then.
Broad Avenue will be closed to all traffic from Fort Lee Road to the US Post Office. Parking will also be prohibited on Broad Avenue during the event.
If you plan on going out for additional Trick or Treating after Treat Street, we encourage you to do so during daylight hours. Pedestrian accidents increase significantly on Halloween during the early evening hours.
We hope you have a safe and fun Halloween.
