Lancaster Sheriff's Station Firearm Investigation Leads to Significant Weapons and Narcotics Seizure

The Lancaster Sheriff’s Station is committed to keeping our neighborhoods safe through proactive patrols, investigative work, and community partnerships.

Recently, deputies assigned to the Lancaster Station Community Appreciation Program (LAN-CAP) arrested a 35-year-old convicted felon for unlawful possession of a firearm. Following the arrest, deputies served a search warrant at the suspect’s Lancaster residence, where they discovered components for 24 functioning firearms, including three unserialized, short-barreled assault rifles.

Deputies also recovered numerous components used to assemble unserialized firearms, commonly known as “ghost guns,” along with methamphetamine, a digital scale, and packaging materials consistent with narcotics sales.

This investigation highlights the importance of proactive law enforcement efforts and continued community involvement in identifying and addressing potential threats to public safety.
