Pen Argyl Borough would like to remind residents that paving operations are underway on East Reservoir Avenue. Construction is expected to continue throughout this week, November 2–6, 2026, weather permitting.
We strongly encourage all motorists to avoid East Reservoir Avenue whenever possible and use alternate routes during construction.
As part of the paving process, there will be periods when sections of the roadway consist of stone rather than finished asphalt. Motorists should expect uneven road surfaces, construction equipment, and potential traffic delays.
If you must travel through the construction area, please:
- Reduce your speed and use extra caution, particularly on unfinished road surfaces.
- Watch for construction workers and equipment operating in or near the roadway.
- Follow all posted signs and instructions from construction personnel.
- Allow extra travel time and be prepared for changing road conditions.
Although the road is expected to remain mostly open during construction, we ask that motorists limit unnecessary travel through the area for their safety and the safety of construction crews.
All work is weather-dependent, and the schedule may change accordingly.
