Happy Halloween!

The Town of University Park would like to remind residents that trick-or-treating will take place tonight, October 31, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM.

For the safety of our residents and trick-or-treaters, several roads throughout Town will be closed to vehicle traffic from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM.

Road Closures:

• Wells Parkway & Chansory Lane

• Wells Parkway & Van Buren Street

• Van Buren Street & Forest Hill Drive

• Wells Parkway & College Heights Drive

• Wells Parkway & Beechwood Road

• Clagett Road (between Clagett-Pineway and College Heights Drive)

• 44th Avenue & Van Buren Street

• 44th Avenue & Underwood Street

Additional road closures may be implemented as necessary.

Halloween Safety Reminders:

We encourage everyone to exercise caution, remain alert, and follow these safety tips:

• Drivers should reduce their speed and watch carefully for children and pedestrians.

• Pedestrians should use sidewalks and designated crosswalks whenever possible.

• Parents should accompany young children and ensure costumes are visible to motorists.

• Residents should avoid driving through closed streets during event hours.

• Children should carry flashlights or glow sticks to improve visibility.
