The Town of Delhi wants you to know about the Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP), which helps income-eligible Delaware County residents with heating costs. Eligible customers can receive assistance based on their household size, income level, and heating source.
To apply,
- Those receiving food stamps/SNAP benefits and/or public assistance need to call the Delaware County Department of Social Services at (607) 832-5300.
- Those age 60 or older need to call the Delaware County Office for the Aging at (607) 832-5750.
- All others need to call Delaware Opportunities, Inc. at (607) 746-1615.
