Please use extra caution when traveling through the Bear Valley Road construction zone between the Main Gate and Sageland Court. Rain may cause changing road conditions and create additional hazards.

The Bear Valley Police Department is temporarily reducing the speed limit in the construction zone to 15 mph. Temporary signs are being installed to reflect the change. The reduced speed limit will remain in effect until the rain stops and the road contractor has had an opportunity to stabilize the road and improve conditions.

As a reminder, paving work that began last week is scheduled to continue through Friday, November 6, weather permitting. Expect additional delays on Bear Valley Road during this time.

Please obey all posted traffic signs, detours, and directions from flaggers, and reduce your speed when traveling through the construction zone.
