Emergency water main and sewer line repairs near the Park Avenue Bridge in Weehawken are causing significant traffic delays in uptown Hoboken.
The Park Avenue Bridge is currently open, however, traffic is reduced to one lane after crosing the bridge into Weehawken. This is causing major backups into Hoboken, with traffic currently extending to Washington Street.
Weehawken anticipates repairs to be completed by tomorrow morning.
Drivers are strongly encouraged to use Willow Avenue to enter and exit Hoboken, prepare for delays, and leave extra time tonight, and into tomorrow morning's commute.
