Registration for the DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR)'s 2026 winter programs begins this week at DPRprograms.com.
Aquatics registration opens TODAY, Wednesday, November 4, and registration for all other winter programs opens Thursday, November 5. Registration begins at 12:00 p.m. on both days.
DPR is offering a variety of winter programs, including:
- Aquatics: Learn-to-swim, aquatic fitness, competitive swimming, intro to water polo, lifeguard training, and senior aquatics.
- Sports: Basketball, gymnastics, tennis, tackle football, boxing, and pickleball.
- Afterschool & OST Programs: Cooperative Play, Afternoon Access, and Enrichment Zone for youth ages 6-13.
- Youth & Teen Programs: Roving Leaders, Young Ladies on the Rise, Young Men, Future Leaders, EMBODI, Wondercamp, Tiny Tots, and Supreme Teens.
- Arts: Piano, dance, guitar, and theater.
- Senior Programs: Senior fitness, dance, and day programs.

11:55 a.m. before registration begins at
12:00 p.m. At noon, everyone in the queue will enter the virtual waiting room and be placed in line in random order. Those entering after 12:00 p.m. will be added to the back of the line.
Winter Registration Schedule:
- Wednesday, November 4 at 12:00 p.m. – Aquatics programs only.
- Thursday, November 5 at 12:00 p.m. – All other winter programs.
