INCIDENT: Victorville Man Arrested for Unlawful Sexual Intercourse with a Minor; Detectives Believe Additional Victims May Exist
LOCATION: Hesperia, CA
SUSPECT(S): Sergio Hernandez, Jr., 42-year-old resident of Victorville
VICTIM(S): Confidential Female Juvenile
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, October 20, 2026, deputies from the Hesperia Sheriff’s Station responded to a call for service regarding a female juvenile victim who had sexual intercourse numerous times with the suspect, Sergio Hernandez Jr. Hernandez worked at numerous local ranches within San Bernardino County, which was where he met the victim.
Through the course of the investigation, it was determined Hernandez worked at the ranch and knew the victim was a juvenile. Investigators also believed Hernandez may have been sexually active with other juveniles throughout San Bernadino County.
On Friday, October 30, 2026, Hernandez was arrested and booked into West Valley Detention Center, where he is being held without bail for PC 261.5(C) – Unlawful Intercourse with a Minor More than 3 Years, PC 289(H) – Sexual Penetration Victim Under 18, and PC 287(B)(1) – Oral Copulation with a Person Under 18.
Investigators are releasing Hernandez' photo and urge anyone who may have been victimized by him or anyone with information related to this case to contact the Hesperia Station.
