INCIDENT: Brandishing a Firearm / Firearms Violations
LOCATION: 14000 Block of Seneca Road, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Andy Collins, 42-year-old, Resident of Victorville
SUMMARY: On Monday, October 26, 2026, at about 1:20 a.m., deputies from the Victorville Station responded to the 14000 block of Seneca Road regarding an incident involving a firearm.
During the investigation, deputies learned Andy Collins brandished a firearm in a public place. Deputies located Collins walking away from a blue Dodge Charger.
While investigating, deputies observed the handle of a handgun inside of the vehicle. A search warrant was obtained and served on the vehicle. Deputies recovered a black Taurus 9mm handgun, brass knuckles, one loaded large-capacity magazine, and two additional loaded magazines. The investigation also revealed the firearm had been illegally purchased.
Andy Collins was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto for P.C. 21810 – Possession of Brass Knuckles, P.C. 25850(A) – Carrying a Loaded Firearm, P.C. 27545 – Unlicensed Firearm Sale, P.C. 32310(A) – Possession of a Large-Capacity Magazine, and P.C. 417(A)(2)(A) – Brandishing a Firearm in a Public Place.
