Wind Advisory until 12:00PM Friday

* WHAT...For the High Wind Warning, southeast winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 60 mph. For the Wind Advisory, south winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected.

* WHERE...City and Borough of Sitka.

* WHEN...For the High Wind Warning, until 4 PM AKST this afternoon. For the Wind Advisory, until noon AKST Friday.

* IMPACTS...High winds will blow around unsecured objects, damage property and cause power outages. Travel will be difficult.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...There will then be a brief break Thursday evening before winds increase again from the SW overnight into Friday morning.

* AFFECTED AREAS: CITY AND BOROUGH OF SITKA
