INCIDENT: PC 311.11(A) - Possession of Child Pornography
LOCATION: 700 Block of Downey Street, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Moises Farnen, 45-years-old, Resident of Needles, CA
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: In April of 2026, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received a Cyber-Tip identifying a user, who had reportedly downloaded suspected child sexual abuse material.
On Monday, October 26, 2026, investigators with the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department/Needles Police Department served a search warrant to obtain information associated with the reported IP address. The records identified Moises Farnen as the subscriber and listed his primary residence in Needles, CA. During the examination of the returned records, investigators discovered data depicting child sexual abuse material.
On November 5, 2026, investigators served a search warrant at Farnen's residence and located additional material depicting child sexual abuse material in Farnen's possession.
Based on the investigation and evidence recovered, Farnen was arrested on the above mentioned charges and was transported to the West Valley Detention Center for booking. Farnen remains in custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department on $30,000.00 bail, awaiting a court hearing. This investigation is on-going.
