Construction crews working on the Bear Valley Road Rehabilitation Project expect to finish today's work between 5:30 and 6:00 p.m. A brief delay due to mechanical issues with an asphalt truck has them running slightly behind schedule.
The CSD and Bear Valley Police will continue to monitor traffic conditions and provide additional assistance as needed.
As a reminder, traffic control in the Bear Valley Road construction zone will be prioritizing inbound traffic after 3:00 p.m. to keep traffic flowing as smoothly as possible.
Before 9:00 a.m., outbound traffic will receive priority.
If possible, the CSD recommends traveling through the construction area between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. to avoid peak traffic periods.
