California Highway Patrol (CHP) Crime Suppression Teams (CST) High Visibility in the City of Duarte:
From November 3, 2026, through November 7, 2026, the California Highway Patrol (CHP) Crime Suppression Teams (CST) will team up with LASD to provide additional patrol coverage throughout Duarte and the unincorporated areas of Monrovia and Arcadia. The goal of this partnership is to work together, share information, and focus our efforts on ongoing crime trends, particularly catalytic converter and copper wire thefts. By combining our resources and increasing our presence in these areas, we hope to discourage criminal activity and make a positive difference in the communities we serve.
MOVEMBER – Men’s Health Awareness Month:
November is also known as Movember, a month dedicated to raising awareness about men’s health, including prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health, and suicide prevention. Throughout the month, men are encouraged to grow mustaches as a fun way to start conversations and bring attention to these important issues. It’s a great reminder to look after our health, check in on one another, and encourage those around us to take care of themselves. A little awareness and support can go a long way!
