Novato Police, Novato Fire, Marin Sheriff and San Rafael Police are on scene investigating an altercation between US Coast Guard Security and an unknown suspect in the Coast Guard housing area. Residents in the following areas, shelter in place until further notice.

Coast Guard Housing area around S Oakwood Drive
Bolling Circle
Smart Hamilton Station
Hathaway Dr.
Marin Valley Mobile Home Park

A large presence of emergency vehicles and personnel will be in the area until deemed safe. Updates will be provided. Please report any suspicious by calling 9-1-1.
