UPDATE: Lockdown Lifted: Vehicle owner identified and contacted

Gibbsboro Police Department located a suspicious vehicle on RT 561 that is was unattended. The vehicle contained ammunition and a small bag. As a PRECAUTION, the roadway was shut down and Eastern High School placed into a Tier 1 Lockdown.

Voorhees Police and Camden County Shieriffs Bomb Squad were activated and assisting with investigation. There are no threats to the school. Voorhees Police have additional officers assigned to area schools while a search is conducted for the driver of the vehicle.
