San Bernardino County Auto Theft Task Force (SANCATT) identify over 30 stolen vehicles at a property in El Mirage

LOCATION: 2400 block of Egert Road, El Mirage
SUSPECT(S): Unidentified
SUMMARY:
On Thursday, June 1, 2017 at 9:00 p.m. Sheriff’s Aviation received a LoJack hit in the 2400 block of Egert Road, El Mirage. Sheriff’s deputies responded to the location and confirmed the LoJack hit was a stolen vehicle. Sheriff’s personnel requested the San Bernardino County Auto Theft Task Force (SANCATT) respond for assistance.
SANCATT arrived at the incident location and executed a search warrant with Sheriff’s deputies. Investigators determined the location to be a chop shop. So far, thirty-two stolen vehicles have been identified and the investigation is continuing.
No suspects are in-custody.
