Please join us for Altadena Sheriff's Station National Night Out. We are hosting a large get together at Farnsworth Park for members of our community to meet your local first responders and neighbors. Tomorrow August 1st, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.  Farnsworth Park is located at 568 E. Mount Curve Ave., Altadena

The event is meant to increase awareness about police programs in communities, such as drug prevention, neighborhood watch, and other anti-crime efforts. It is also a great time to meet and talk with members of our department and other public agencies. 

The various agencies will have booths set up and equipment in the park on the grass area just north of the baseball field. We have Los Angeles County Fire, California Highway Patrol, ALERT radio group, LA Co. Disaster Communications Service and our various volunteer and neighborhood watch groups in attendance.

Eaton Canyon Nature Center will have a display and bring a few animals. Our Altadena Mountain Rescue Team will have team t-shirts for sale, a zip-line rope for kids to ride.  Altadena Mounted Posse is bringing their horses. A barbecue dinner will be served, along with cotton candy, popcorn, snow cones and a bounce house.
