UPDATE: Water Quality Sample is Clear After Repair of Water Main Break on Ohmes Road

Results from a water quality test came back clear today, Jan. 6, 2018, after a water main break was repaired on Ohmes Road yesterday. This means a boil order is not necessary. The water main break only affected City water customers along Ohmes Road between Woodlands Parkway and Mid Rivers Mall Drive.

If a customer has discolored water due to a loss of pressure, this was caused by the home’s internal plumbing. If you experience discolored water after a main break, you can flush your internal plumbing lines by running the largest faucet in your home, normally the bathtub faucet or any faucet experiencing discolored water, until your water is clear.
