UPDATE: Water Quality Sample Is Clear after Repair of Water Main Break near Mid Rivers Mall Drive and Dardenne Creek
Results from a water quality test came back clear today, Jan. 9, 2018, after a water main break was repaired near Mid Rivers Mall Drive and Dardenne Creek yesterday. This means a boil order is not necessary. The water main break affected the following subdivisions and streets: Amherst, Bruns Place, Dardenne Crossing subdivisions and Morning Star Lane and Morning Star Court street (see attached map).
If a customer has discolored water due to a loss of pressure, this was caused by the home’s internal plumbing. If you experience discolored water after a main break, you can flush your internal plumbing lines by running the largest faucet in your home, normally the bathtub faucet or any faucet experiencing discolored water, until your water is clear.
If you have questions, you may call 636-477-6600, ext. 1573.
