Trash truck fire on Altadena Drive just west of Lake Avenue expect traffic delay. 
Today at 1:11 PM a report of smoke coming from a local trash truck was seen across the street from Altadena Sheriff Station. Quick work from Los Angeles County Fire Department extinguished the fire and thankfully no persons were hurt. The only way to extinguish a fire confined inside the back of a trash truck is to dump the load out on to an open area and then put the fire out.
Traffic delays are expected for at least another hour while the road is cleaned up.
