City of Oakland conducting intermittent, partial road closures on Shepherd Canyon Rd 
Per OakDOT and Oakland Public Works:
Effective 3/19, the City will conduct intermittent, partial road closures from 5900 Shepherd Canyon Rd extending ~500ft downhill, 9am-5pm. At least one lane will remain open at all times and traffic safety will be managed by on-site flaggers. The closures will be conducted to allow for clearing and preparation of the area for upcoming capital repair work. Depending on weather conditions, these intermittent closures are anticipated to last about one month. Staff will send another update to this notification when a final schedule for completing this work is available.
