INCIDENT: PC 4570, Unauthorized communication with prisoners

SUSPECT(S): Kevin Wambold 56 year old male, Mohave Valley, Az



SUMMARY: Wambold was seen by staff members of the Colorado River Station, communicating with sentenced inmates through the fence of a secured area. Deputies of the Colorado River Station were immediately notified and checked the area for Wambold who was located walking away from the secured area. During the investigation it was determined Wambold provided contriband to the sentenced inmates. Wambold was arrested and booked into the Colorado River Station Jail on the above charge.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department wants to remind the members of the community that any communication or contact with imates incarcerated at the Coloroado River Station Jail is illegal. Those found to be in violation will be subject to arrest and prosecution.
