During a vehicle check, Richard Twobulls was arrested for a no bail parole violation & felon in poss of firearms 
DATE/TIME: February 10, 2020 / 1:49 p.m.
INCIDENT: PC 29800(A)(1)- Felon in possession of a firearms
PC 12091- Obliterated serial number on a firearm.
LOCATION: Cibola Street/A Street, Needles
SUSPECT: Richard Twobulls, 25-years-old, resident of Needles
SUMMARY:
On February 10, 2020 at approximately 1:49 p.m., Deputy Yates from the Colorado River Station conducted a vehicle check on a gray Chrysler 300 at the intersection of the Cibola Street and A Street in Needles. While approaching the vehicle he observed an American Indian male, who he recognized as Richard Twobulls and he knew to have a felony no bail warrant for a parole violation. Deputy Yates saw Twobulls reaching under the passenger seat of the vehicle attempting to hide something. Twobulls stepped away from the vehicle and was placed under arrest for his warrant. During a search of the passenger seat area, a sawed off 12-gauge shotgun was located. The shotgun had the serial number grounded off and was unreadable. During a further search of the vehicle a loaded .44 caliber hand gun was located in between the driver seat and the driver door.
Twobulls is a convicted felon and is prohibited from owning or possessing any type of firearms or ammunition. Twobulls was booked into the Colorado River Station Jail and is being held with no bail pending a court hearing.
