SUMMARY: 
Twice in the last week, suspects have been arrested for bringing drugs onto the grounds of the West Valley Detention Center.  Deputy Chen was assigned to patrol the exterior of the facility and contacted the suspects as they entered onto jail property.
On March 8, 2020, Deputy Chen stopped Terry Siefker and his two female passengers Eloisa Valles and Kristin Troup.  During the traffic stop, Siefker and his passengers were in possession of drug paraphernalia and narcotics, which included suspected methamphetamine and heroin.
All three were arrested and booked into custody at the West Valley Detention Center.  Siefker is charged with Penal Code 4573 - Bringing a Controlled Substance onto a Jail Facility.  He also had a warrant for his arrest for possession of prohibited weapons. Siefker’s bail is set at $55,000. His next court date is scheduled for March 9, 2020, in the San Bernardino Superior Court. 
Valles was charged with Penal Code 4573 and Penal Code 476 – Fictitious Checks.  Valles is being held in lieu of $25,000 bail and she is scheduled to appear in the Rancho Cucamonga Superior Court on March 10, 2020. 
Troup was also charged with Penal Code 4573-Bringing a Controlled Substance onto a Jail Facility.  Additionally, Troup was arrested for an outstanding warrant for drug possession. Her combined bail is $35,000 and she is scheduled to appear in the San Bernardino Superior Court on Mach 9, 2020.  
On March 2, 2020, Deputy Chen contacted Christopher Gordon as Gordon drove onto the jail grounds.
During a search of Gordon’s car, Chen located over $4,000.00 in cash, multiple packages of oxycontin, morphine, marijuana and other unknown pills.  Gordon was arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center.
He is charged with Health and Safety Code 11351 - Possession of a Controlled Substance For Sale and Penal Code 4573 - Bringing a Controlled Substance onto a Jail Facility.  Gordon posted $50,000 bail and his court date will be set after the District Attorney’s Office reviews the case.
As a reminder, anyone entering onto the jail property is subject to a search of their person and their vehicle.
