Homicide Investigation: A traffic collision occurred after a shooting. Two victims; one deceased. 
On February 1, 2020, at approximately 1900 hours, the Pomona Police Department responded to multiple calls regarding a traffic collision with shots fired in the 1300 block of W. Second St. Upon arrival, officers located a vehicle that had crashed into a tree and two victims that were suffering from gunshot wounds. Both male adult victims were transported to the hospital for treatment. A short time later, one of the victims succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
Pomona Police Department Homicide Detectives are responding to take over the investigation. Second St. will be closed between Oak and Buena Vista for the next several hours. This is still an active investigation and investigators are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to please contact the Pomona Police Department.
