Timely Warning:

The Jackson Community College, Safety & Security Department was contacted by residents of a housing unit and advised of a fight between two residents. Officers from the Safety & Security Department responded and were confronted by a female suspect wielding two knives.
The suspect was taken into custody and was turned over to the Sheriff’s Office. The suspect will be lodged at the Jackson County Jail awaiting arraignment in the 12th District Court on multiple charges.
The Safety & Security Department is providing this Timely Warning to the Campus Community to assure you there is no further danger at this time.

Jackon Community College will provide further information to the Campus Community as it becomes available through our Public Information Officer.
