The Manchester School District has been alerted to a potential safety concern in our community. The Manchester Police Department has shared information with the school district about an individual wanted for crimes in Florida and possibly en route to the southern New Hampshire area.

The subject, identified as Craig Shertzer, 44, is reportedly operating a silver Toyota Tundra pickup bearing NH license plate YSTRYR and towing a trailer bearing NH utility plate YSTYR. He is wanted by Florida authorities for Aggravated Assault and Grand Theft, and is considered armed and dangerous.

Shertzer is a former Nashua resident and may have connections to other southern New Hampshire communities. In an effort to remain vigilant and keep our school community informed, the Manchester School District is providing you with this notification. We continue to share information with the Manchester Police Department, which will provide any necessary patrols to ensure the safety of our children and staff.
