Prescription drug take back Saturday, October 26th from 10 am to 2 pm at Stop & Shop, 245 Littleton Road, Morris Plains.
On Saturday, October 26th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the Morris Plains Police Department, Morris County Prosecutor's Office and Stop & Shop will be working together in conjunction with the Drug Enforcement Administration to give the public the opportunity to rid their homes of prescription drugs.
This national prescription drug take back initiative provides an anonymous and environmentally friendly way for you to rid your home of dangerous, expired, unused and/or unwanted prescription and over the counter medications. Proper disposal of these drugs is not only safer for the environment, but it also reduces prescription drug abuse and theft.
The collection site for your medications will be established during the aforementioned times at Stop & Shop, located at 245 Littleton Road (corner of Routes 10 & 202), Morris Plains.
