DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS TO BEGIN SNOW REMOVAL OPERATIONS
The Department of Public Works will begin snow removal operations tonight on Commercial Street beginning at 7:00pm. Portions of Commercial Street will be closed during this time, accessible to local traffic only.
Work will begin at Granite Street, and progress northerly. Crews are expected to have Commercial Street north of Spring Street closed beginning at 2:00am.
Motorists are advised to avoid Commercial Street during this time.
Snow removal on Elm Street will begin on Sunday night, beginning at 2:00pm at Bridge Street, progressing northerly. Elm Street, between Bridge Street and Merrimack Street will be closed beginning at 8:00pm. Local traffic only.
Motorists are advised to avoid Elm Street during this time.
These operations subject to change should inclement weather require our forces to be diverted.
