7^th Precinct Community Meeting November 20, 2014

Guest Speaker Brian Hoffman of the Suffolk County Office of Emergency Management gave a presentation on Disaster and Winter Storm Preparedness.

7th Precinct Community Liaison Officer Thomas Kennedy discussed upcoming community events within the 7^th Precinct.

Inspector William Neubauer, Commanding Officer of the Seventh Precinct, discussed noteworthy arrests and current crime patterns.  Inspector Neubauer reminded attendees about how to deter thefts from parked vehicles.  A separate Nixle message was sent out to registered user in the 7^th Precinct about this topic:

Attendees addressed concerns about drug dealing from a residence in Mastic.  Referrals were made to appropriate investigative units.

Attendees addressed concerns about tethered dogs left out in yards during cold weather.  Inspector Neubauer made suggestions on how to make proper referrals to Suffolk County SCPA and the issued has been brought to the attention of patrol officers.
