Shoreham Wading River High School & SCPD Presents
“The Ugly Truth” March 2, 2015 7:00 p.m. at Shoreham Wading River High School 250 Route 25A, Shoreham, New York.

Shoreham Wading River High School and the Suffolk County Police Department will host a forum on the heroin and prescription drug epidemic that has impacted communities in Suffolk County.  Presenters will include police officers from the Suffolk County Police Department Community Response Bureau and the Suffolk County Medical Examiners Office.  All community members are invited to attend this informative program. Please bring expired or unwanted medications (no liquids or syringes) to the presentation for proper disposal by the Suffolk County Police Department's Operation Medicine Cabinet.  In addition training in the use of intranasal nalaoxone, a powerful life saving drug that reverses the effects of a heroin or opioid drug overdose will be offered to attendees.  Nalaxone kits are available to those who participate in the training.
