Midnight officers responded to a report of a subject going through an unlocked vehicle on Ludlow near Meadowcrest. Prior to officers arrival the suspicious subject had fled in an unknown direction. While searching the area officers observed a suspicious dark colored Chevy Traverse on Dundee near Lincoln. When the occupant of the suspicious veh observed the patrol units it fled east from the sub onto SB Woodward into Pleasant Ridge. Officers were able to obtain a plate of BPL 0098 (Mich). The plate/vehicle was reported as stolen on 8/24/15. Please remember to lock your vehicles, remove valuable items from sight and report any suspicious activity to the Public Safety Dept.
