Today 1-2pm Berkley School District will be conducting a lock down DRILL in all of their schools. This is only a test. 
October 14, 2015, the Berkley School District will be conducting a lock down DRILL in all of their schools. This drill will be done in conjunction with the Public Safety Departments from Berkley, Huntington Woods and Oak Park. All schools in Michigan are required to conduct three lock down drills each year. It is unusual for the District to inform the community before they do these drills. However, since this is a district-wide lock down with police involvement, we want to make sure that residents are aware of this. This drill is intended to ensure that students and staff are prepared.
As a reminder, any school that is in lock down will not be accessible to any one from outside the building. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
