Throughout the month of December, a number of Seal Beach residents and visitors will be shopping around town for the holidays that are approaching rapidly. With that, the Seal Beach Police Department would like to remind everyone of our “Take it and Lock it” campaign. See below for our holiday slogan, a graphic for media and some holiday shopping tips:

• Don’t leave your shopping bags or valuables unattended in your vehicle
• Never carry large sums of cash
• Women: Make sure your purses are closed properly
• Men: Keep wallets in your front pockets
• Never walk into dark parking lots alone
• Be alert and shop during the day if you can
