Shots Fired

On Thursday, July 28, at 5:56pm, officers responded to the Haban Manufacturing Building in the 1500 block of Summit Ave. reference a shots fired call. It was determined that there was a civil dispute between parties and shots were fired as a result of the incident. There were no injuries and nothing was struck.

Several parties were taken to the Racine Police Department to be interviewed. One person was arrested. Although the initial call for service came out as a possible hostage situation this was not the case. No names are being released at this time.

Racine Police investigators are interested in any additional information that anyone may have about this crime. Any witnesses, or citizens with information, are urged to call the Racine Police Department Investigations Unit at (262) 635-7756.
