Homicide 1800 block of Roosevelt Ave. 
On Friday, November 11, 2016, the Racine Police Department responded to the 1800 block of Roosevelt Ave. for a call of a man lying on the ground unresponsive. Officers and Racine Rescue located the individual but he could not be revived and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The victim is a 28 year old male who died from an apparent gunshot wound. The investigation is active and no further information is being released at this time.
