ROAD CLOSURES AND COMMUNITY EVENTS IN BAY SHORE AND WEST ISLIP THIS WEEKEND, 9/23 AND 9/24 
The following events will be taking place in our area this weekend:
BAY SHORE 9/23/17:
The Great South Bay Run will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2017. Montauk Highway will be closed from Brentwood Road in Bay Shore to Manor Lane in Bay Shore from 8 AM to approximately 12 Noon. There will be other ancillary detours in the area. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and expect delays.
WEST ISLIP 9/24/17
On Sunday, September 24, 2017, the West Islip Country Fair will take place on the grounds adjacent to the West Islip Library. Heavy traffic is expected in the area. Motorists are advised to expect delays and encouraged to use alternate routes.
