Senior Citizens and Crime

Sheriff Mike Marshall and the Stokes County Sheriff’s Office had the pleasure to speak to some of our Stokes County Seniors today at the Advocacies’ Counsel to Seniors (ACTS) meeting held in Danbury NC. Captain Danny Bottoms on behalf of Sheriff Mike Marshall and the Stokes County Sheriff’s Office had the honor to meeting with some of our seniors. We had some great discussions on the topics of senior safety, dealing with telemarketers, safety at home crime prevention, and tips on how to avoid being the victim of fraud.

Sheriff Mike Marshall and his staff are working with the seniors of Stokes County to help to prevent them from becoming a victim of a crime.
