The Upper Macungie Township Police Department has an important message for you! *Vandalisms*

On Friday, March 2 2018, UMTPD officers were dispatched to a home in the 5000 block of Doris Drive for a report of a suspicious person/ criminal mischief.

Investigation that was conducted on scene determined that a female suspect, believed to be in her 20's, with black hair, had rung the doorbell of a homeowner. Shortly after the female walked away from the door, the homeowner heard a loud sound and observed damage to his front window. He then observed the female suspect standing outside his home holding what is believed to be a pellet gun.

As follow-up investigation was conducted, a nearby home was also observed to have exterior window damage. This damage appeared to have been caused by a brick that was thrown through the window.

The female suspect in this incident was observed driving a white vehicle with tinted windows, possibly a Mitsubishi Eclipse or Hyundai Tiburon.

These incidents remain under investigation at this time. Anyone with information is asked to contact UMTPD headquarters at 484-661-5911 (ask for Officer Sinko), or use the anonymous tip/text line at 484-273-0336. Thank you.
