* Flood Warning for The Mad River at Springfield
* until Wednesday morning.
* At 2 PM the stage was 10.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 11 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* The river will rise above flood stage by late this afternoon and continue to rise to near 12.0 feet by this evening. The river will fall below flood stage by after midnight tonight.
* At stages near 11 feet, West 1st Street in Springfield Township floods, including the Forest Lake Fishing and Campround area, with water approaching some businesses along West 1st Street. Spangler Road downstream of Springfield also floods. Flood waters approach several homes to the southwest of Springfield. In addition, the Mad River experiences widespread flooding in Champaign County near the river. &&
