Missing Vulnerable Adult
Notice Provided Pursuant to Public Act 176 of 2012 (MCL 28.711 to 28.718)

Grosse Pointe Woods, MI, August 3, 2018 - The Grosse Pointe Woods Department of Public Safety is investigating a report of a missing vulnerable adult. This missing person is: Michelle Bridges, 18 year old white female, 5’1’’, 105 lbs, blonde hair, green eyes, with a scar on her jaw. Michelle wears glasses or contacts and always can be seen wearing an insulin pump. Michelle was last seen on July 26th at her home in Grosse Pointe Woods. Michelle is believed to be in the Waterford or Pontiac area with an unknown white male. Michelle suffers from both medical and psychological illnesses that require daily medications which are still at her Grosse Pointe Woods home.

The missing person is a “senior or vulnerable adult” as that term is defined in Public Act 176 of 2012, codified at MCL 28.711 to 28.718, and this notice is being provided pursuant that statute in order to aid in him/her being safely located and returned home. This missing person is not suspected of any criminal wrongdoing. This press release is being provided to one or more broadcasters in an area where the missing person may be located based upon the information we have available at this time. We are requesting that the news media broadcaster in receipt of the press release: 1) notify the public that there is a missing senior or vulnerable adult medical alert and; 2) request that they broadcast or publish a description of the missing senior or vulnerable adult any other relevant information that would assist in locating the missing senior or vulnerable adult.
